G.M. Ford is back with a brand-new book, his first stand-alone novel -- Identity in which a suspense story is wrapped up with a mystery along with riddles over certain death. As the story begins, Paul Hardy survived an accident when he was seen near dead in a railroad car behind western station seven years ago. Since his body was damaged severely, he spent past seven years living in a group home for disabled adults -- Harmony House in Washington State.

Although, Paul lost contacts with the outside world, since he can’t remember his identity, he developed a close relationship with one of the physically-challenged patients -- Shirley, whom he seemed to understand. One day Shirley´s wheelchair rolled out of control and Paul ran after it, trying to save her from tumbling over. Unfortunately during the rescue, a car hit him. Paul is taken to the hospital in a critical condition, with less chances to survive.  The Director of the Harmony House, Helen, knew she had to stay at the hospital because Paul had no one else.

During the treatment, the doctor did a face surgery to Paul that got damaged during his first accident. After a while, Paul gained the consciousness, but came up with a problem that his name is not Paul Hardy. When he looked in the mirror, he couldn’t even recognize himself due to the reconstructive surgery. Slowly, Paul was able to regain some memories that took him on a cross-country quest to find out who he really is.

As Paul begins his search, some people are not comfortable -- from the DA's office to the highest levels of government. So, he begins to face more threats to his life. Will Paul finds his identity?
