The Simpsons is an American animated television sitcom. The show is set in the fictional ciry of Springfireld. It centers on a family and their life, the Simpsons, Homer, Marge, Bart, Lisa, and Maggie.

In The Simpsons, Springfield town is a complete universe and characters explore issues faced by modern society. Let's see the main characters in this show.
Homer, the father who loves his family, works in a nuclear power plant. From this character and his position, the show comments on the state of the environment.
Marge, she is Homer's wife and the mother of three children. She shows us a stereotypical American housewife and mother.
The three children are: Bart, a ten years old boy who makes troubles all the time; Lisa, a precocious eight years old girl; and the baby Maggie who rarely speaks and loves sucking her pacifier. We could know pressing and controversial issues in education field from Bart and Lisa's days at Springfiled Elementary School.
There are also two lovely pets in the family, a dog and a cat. They have starring roles in several episodes.
Besides the Simpsons, the show includes a large scope of characters raging from co-workers to local celebrities. Springfield, a kind of world, isn't it?
