Mar 17, 2010 – The “quirky and refreshingly unique” British film, My Last Five Girlfriends, that will be released in cinemas nationwide on 19th March, features a debut performance from the Jigsaw “I Love You” cardigan. It plays a very critical, albeit non-speaking role, in Duncan’s final relationship.
To celebrate its debut appearance, Jigsaw would like to offer everyone the chance to win one of these special edition cardigans. There are ten to give away; all it is needed to do is sign up on Jigsaw website.
The “I Love You” cardigan, reflecting the dilemma faced by Duncan when preparing his gift for Gemma, girlfriend No.5, is a unique piece fashioned from silk cotton, in a bright spring yellow and includes a one-off “I Love You” label.
The cast of the movie includes, among others, Brendan Patricks, Naomie Harris, Kelly Adams and of course, the Jigsaw cardigan, that has a role to play in 4 scenes.
The film centres around Duncan, a man looking for the perfect girl. Duncan, devastated when his latest relationship hits the rocks, is on the brink of giving it all up. In a final attempt to find out where it all went wrong he undertakes a review of his last five girlfriends. The journey he takes is very funny, poignant and in places, deeply bizarre, with an amusing amount of “I’ve been there” empathy coming from anyone watching.
